Darrell I run BFG T/A's on my F150 in summer and I've used commercial grade Goodyears on work truck applications. Both are good.

You ute looks great Tex!
Looks way better with clear lenzes!
One thing you can get for it is orange globes with a chrome like outer coating to almost eliminate the orange colour reflection through the indicator!
I did that on mine and it came out better!
They are at least double the price though!
Yes it is an Aussie ute with the steering wheel on the right side!
That must mean that you guys all have your steering wheels on the WRONG SIDE!:-X10:-X10

Thanks Man, I thought about getting the other bulbs, but there are 3 on each side 6 total. I already had new regular amber ones.

Do you have clear LED tail lights under the bed?

6 bulbs total!:'(
Over here the shiny bulbs cost me $15 a piece!
That would have been $90 just for the front indicator bulbs alone if i drove the same model!:'(
Yeah i know its expencive!
Thats how things are over here unfortunately!

I fitted the regular 600mm Hella Designline truck light assemblies to the rear panel i made up and got 4 clear lenzes to replace the red and amber ones.
I had found a new type of LED bulb which has LED strips around the sides and the ends.
They are higher output and also are available for tail/stop lights and turn signals shining amber and red respectively.
Used 12mm white pin stripe tape to make the lenzes look like 3 thin ones on top of each other which i think kame out looking better!

I bet that looks cool! Do you have a close up picture of those tail lights both on and off?

Those bulbs are not quite that expensive here. I think they are about 15 bucks a pair last I saw. I think the smaller peanut/wedge bulbs are about 10 bucks a pair.

Speaking of Hella, I now have Hella 550 lights in my front bumper instead of the ones in that picture. They fit the bumper better and work much better.

Hows this,I swapped in a Borg Warner T-18,(was a E40D)brand new 10 inch clutch, press.plate TO and pilot bearings,(11 inch clutch disc is still a option)new Hyd slave and master cyls.added 6-inches to the front section of a 2 piece drive shaft,to get it rolling,I re-built the clutch-brake pedals that came from a 96 donor veh.with all new nylon bushings, and tacked welded a washer in place to take up the slop, the pedals feel like new now,and reinstalled them into my truck,I bought some new floor mats, and installed the chrome door edge guards I got from LMC,I got a drivers side rear view mirror to install, but havent done it yet, when I get back from FL,with my old school new chrome rims,Im hooking up some new rubber all around, and Im gonna try a set of bucket seats while Im getting my 60/40 split bench seat re covered,Im also scratch building a new 300 six for this truck as well, with all forged bottom end,and hand ported head, its just gonna be a low rpm torque engine, for pulling around my Farm,Ive also got a powertrax posi to install as well, but its not in yet,"A work in Progress!!!"

I noticed a lot of tire talk a few posts back, does anyone know what ever happened to "summit wide climber" tires? They were a very good all around, long wearing tread pattern, and they didnt whine real bad going down the road.

Thats cool! It looks great. I say its a big improvement. Those old ones were a little on the small side. Have you thought about adding some type of bumper?
