Pulled the upper intake, changed the valve cover gaskets, welded up the holes in the valve covers till I find some new ones, changed the oil also.

That looks good Bud. Here is a picture of how I mounted the Hella Lights.

Did you get some for your bumper yet, if so did you get driving or fog?

Make sure you rotate the lamp 180 degrees in the housing so they are positioned properly.

I had to bend the flat bar a little to make the lights straight. I used aluminum, since I won't rust.

I'm glad I went out to take pictures for you, I noticed that the bushings on my steering stabilizer were shot.

I didn't do this today, but I thought I would share anyway. I have had them for a few years.

Navigator Backup Light Kit - JCWhitney

I got these for 20 bucks from one of the local parts stores, but they are also available from JCW. They are designed to mount to the reciever hitch with large cable ties. I had to bend the brackets slightly and angle them down, but I think it works really well.

I didn't wire them to the reverse circuit, I just put them on a switch.

I have seen them labelled as Pilot or Navigator brand. They work really well and have a utility type flood lense that works good for backing up. If you use these, make sure the drain hole is facing down.

If you want to add auxilary rear lights to your truck, use lights with a lense like this instead of a driving light that makes more of a beam.

Looked under the dash & decided I'm gonna have to unbolt the column to check that switch. Little cool today. Maybe tomorrow :-yeahrigh.

I vacuumed my interior for the first time since I got the truck in July of '09:eek:

Recent successes with Clutch and Heater gave me new found pride in my ride.

Now that the interior is vacuumed the crap from the PO is painfully obvious. Will get after it with carpet cleaner tomorrow.

Or - floormats?

Go with some nice rubber floor mats!

Today I:
1. Got my interior lights working (woohoo!).
2. Pulled off the plastic on the bottom left front interior pillar and stuffed my CB cables into it.
3. In the process of doing the two above things I magically got my door chime to work (sweet!) and lost all my radio presets (boo)...

Today I pulled the transmission on the Explorer to replace the slave cylinder, what a stupid design. It will be going back in tommorow. Just used the truck to drive to and from the shop to work on the junker, I did however flip some satisfying brodies in the parking lot at work.
