Once a year I tear apart the hubs and re-grease everything and repack the bearings. Besides that though, I haven't broken anything.

This will only be used a few times per year...For bad weather, etc...Or getting to cemetaries, etc...

And it has factory tires, and is going to stay the 2wd ride height...So no real need for a Monobeam...

You have to test it out at least once! You're going to LOVE 3rd gear in low range ;) Sure does throw some mud!

Well today I used my truck to pull-start a 1991 F350 diesel dually. She did it like a champ, that 300 sure does like pulling heavy things!

Well, yesterday technically, took a trip to just south of Greensboro to look at a 99 Explorer for a project vehicle, then came home and did a little plastic trimming to make the truck breathe a little easier, then worked some more on the HHO generator. Just need to rig up a mount, run a switch and wires, and run tubing and it's a green light.

Looked at some rust free beds online, so far the cheapest I can find with shipping to my door is $880.

It would have to be shipped by Freight service. It's the only way I'm going to get a hold of a rust free bed for restoring my truck. They are a rare find in good shape in the rust belt up here.

I am soooo glad we don't have to deal with rust here in Nevada .... surface rust from paint burning off ... that is another issue, that is all I have to deal with on my 90 F250 !!! Maybe I should take orders for rust free parts and get a big trailer and head East !!!

More work on the D44...

More paint...

As I was removing the hub, etc...The freakin locking ring came out in 2 pieces....So that's another trip to the parts store....}>

Started out with the intention of replacing ball joints, ended up with 4 new ball joints,2 brake rotors, brake pads, and 1 outer wheel bearing. But the front ends is done now

Installed my prototype HHO generator. Seems to have actually helped produce a little torque, as I can now climb hills, in OD, at about 900 rpm, with 36" tires and stock 3.55 gearing. I say awesome. lol

couldn't tell without looking at a picture. You might want to create a new thread titled "Transmission leaking from bottom of dipstick tube" or something of the sort. You'll get more responses that way, good luck!
