i sadly dont have a writeup, but it was alot more simple than u may think, i just cut off the old vinyl since it was cracked and nasty, i put the spray foam on the pad to smooth out the holes, sanded it flat and smooth then got a yard of vinyl from the fabric store and used M super 77 spray adheasive and a heat gun
if u want to do this u NEED the heat gun, it just takes heat and patience to get it looking right |
haha nicee i wish i had some buckets, but yeah i tried putting vinyl on the door panels, let me tell you, disaster, its too curvy to get it right without sewing new pieces in haha

I don't know if this counts or not but i cleaned it out then came home to a parking ticket and then kicked the tire. lol

Took my spare to Jim's Oil Depot for a new valve stem. Asked the guy how much to replace it--he said no charge. Hardly anybody does anything for nothing these days. I slipped him half a sawbuck as a thank you.

Took the aluminum tailgate trim off to be sold and broke the three plastic clips in the process. I didn't know they were screwed on from the back.

And now you have a tail gate full of holes ???

PO put a XLT tailgate from a junkyard. I don't want it, too much shine. |
Dropped my transmission pan. Put in a new filter and of coures some fresh fluid.

I went to the junkyard and pulled some Centrion Van seats to stick in my 150. I also replaced the factory fuel filter after 15 years and 147000 miles. Took 2 trips to the parts store for the fuel line disconect tools, at the end i was covered in Lots of grease and gas. And for the record the cheap plastic disconect tool works like a charm and the $10, 2 sided metal tool is pure ****. Now to figure out how to mount those seats right.

Drove my truck like I stole it.

Today, I only enjoyed the ride as it purred along. After new COPS and Motorcraft plugs this past Sunday. No more spit and sputter for now

Put a clapper back on the stack - most rain caps are made for straight-cut stacks, I have a slant-cut, things got interesting real quick. Pics tomorrow.

Repaired melted headlight housing, from the bulb laying on the opening, leading to me getting pulled over on the Eastern Shore and getting a warning.:-hair
