FINALLY i got the rear tank fuel pump in, replaced the trans cooler, thermostat, front rotors and pads, rear drums, shoes, and all the hardware. AND I put a sweet Yankees sticker on the rear window.

I replaced most of the broken trim pieces in my dash today. Also replaced the broken vents. At some point before I got the truck the dash had been disassembled by someone who must have used a claw hammer or some such implement of destruction to do so.

We get lots of stuff at our shop from other people taking dases apart and whatnot, heater boxes broken, all support broken, some real hacks out there.

I got a good cluster surround for it too since about half of the clips are broken on mine but I'm gonna hold off replacing it. I want to install a tach and plan to do both at the same time.

why wouldnt you leave it in the mud pit?? thats the best place for a truck!!

I have a 2wd dually with a diesel up front, while the rear axle is welded up and that does help to inch her way through mud by revving at 2000 rpms in 2nd slinging mud all over the place, the tires are still rather worn so traction is anywhere near close to what I'd like it to be.

Took it for a cruise up the blue star highway this morning... and back again.

Where is Blue Star Highway, what number is that road? You know, like, Telegraph is US 24...

I hadn't been home in a few days and when I got home last night, The county finally made the "water over road" signs a permanent installation by putting them on posts in front of my house. This is probably good since it seems like there is water there more than half the time. Plus I'm sure it's cheaper than fixing the road.

So now you probably won't have as many people stalled or slid off the road in front of your house?

sounds fun chris. soon as i can afford new tires, im gonna get two crap spare rims, and run the tires i have off till they blow out... :-X22

i welded my exhaust bracket back on. looks a lot better not that its not hangin 4 inches lower than the other side by balin wire... also determined that the little fog lights i got from wally world are burnt out, cause they have power all the way to the light, but the ground is dead...
