Well, I really have no need for such a huge rear window - my headrests (Mercury Grand Marquis units added on top of the F-series XLT seat) cover a decent portion of it to begin with, and the fact that my left eye is inop takes care of another big part of the window's visibility potential. So all I can use of the rear window is its center section, right where the slider pieces are - that said when the rearview mirror fell off the windshield it was one of the best things that ever happened to me, lol :D

lol. i hate that mirror on the windshield...

my old one is crap....got a nice new one, but may never install it. drove 18 wheelers for a while, and you learn not to use a rearview mirror, just side mirrors

And you just assume there is a woman in a honda 4ft behind your trailer.

well, honestly, a 255 isnt a very big jump in cam size. now if you stuck, say, a 285 cam in it, and didnt see any real gains, then id be concerned.

Well after reading around the 255 seems to be the biggest speed density cam I could find, I didn't want to risk having a truck that runs like ass because the stock computer is confused. Also don't have the money to switch to MASS air. The truck already has a better intake and free flowing exhaust so I figured that the computer is already on the verge of not running properly. I know it will never be fast, was just hoping for a bit more umph in the butt dyno... :p

got my sway bar links and bushing kit in today. only took me about 10mins to put them in and get on my way the only thing that sucked was it was cold and mud, sand, rust kept falling in my eyes.

Oh man, I hate that. I made it a habit to bang around with a big wrench or hammer on the area I was working to dislodge some of that crap before looking up. Although, it seems like you always get hit anyway.

Went out and stared longingly. I can't wait for spring. :-X16

I hate when dirt, rust etc falls in your face. I always want to wear safety glasses to prevent it, but then you can see very well, so I only use them when its really a safety issue.

Its not that cold here, but I'm looking forward to warmer weather too.

Old93junk 02-18-2010 05:59 PM

X2 on safety glasses.............nothing more frustrating than spending 1/2hour digging crap out of your eye instead of finishing the job on the truck.
