Transmission wanted
OK, I'll be first....
Looking for a manual transmission that will fit an 86 F250 4x4 with the 6.9 IDI Diesel. Stock unit is a T-19 4-speed but would be interested in a 5-speed as long as it is a direct bolt in OR if it comes with any parts needed to adapt it to my engine/transfer case (flywheel, etc.). I'm in Kent Washington and am willing to travel reasonable distances for the right deal. |
Seat:
I have a seat out of a 86 Ford truck that I would like to get rid of, it's in good shape, blue, if you need one make me an offer, seat only no mounting brackets.
Thanks, Bob |
Looking for grill
Looking for a 05-06 black H bar grille, I want to change my XLT honeycomb one out for that. Thanks in advance.
|
I'm looking for some parts for a 72 F250 highboy. Specifically inner fenderwells with mounting brackets and a steering sector that isn't going to cost an arm and a leg. If ony one knows of a parts truck please let me know.
|
I need a Tig Torch for a Miller Econo Twin HF I just purchased. I'm in the Auburn WA. area near Emerald Downs.
|
Praxair has them on sale every now and then, but I got a torch from Cyberweld. You have to get the connectors seperate.
Personally, I would go with a CK flexhead torch with a small backcap, to get into tight spots. |
351 C

For Sale Miller AC 225V Thunderbolt Welder with leads, works great $125.00

Selling 1978 F250 Supercab, 4x2, 400M, Auto C-6. It has a 1979 front clip. 142K miles. It runs but not well. $600 obo.
The 400M engine heads need cleaning, there is carbon buildup on the top of the heads. At least one set of valves needs work/replacement. The body has rust around the rear wheel wells and at the bottom of the cab. The C-6 drive train and axles are good. Tires are good. Glass is good. I'm keeping the toolbox :) Here's a new picture: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y97...FEB07_800x.jpg |
Ya sure ya don't want to sell that tool box????? Jim

Mike, the bed is the design that has a lockable "tool box" inset on the passenger side, I love that thing. Also the interior is good except for the driver's side door panel -- it ripped off in my hand when the wind blew the door open. One gas tank has a hole in it. The electrical system is good. I put a Class III 2" receiver tow hitch on it. CB radio.

Then again that'd be a good reason for a get-together to get the 'ol truck over to Sequim. :) |
Let me give some thought into how I can make this work, and at the same time slide in a new project past my wife.

1966 Long Wide side - Already has tilt wheel, power steering, power brakes with dual master cylinder and tranny swapped to automatic. Has a 240 with what I believe is a blown head gasket. Recent new parts are master cylinder, power booster and rebuilt carb (has automatic choke). No rust through in the bed and limited rust else where. Excellent radiator support and glass. Give me $50.00 and I'll throw in the 2 new Dennis Carpenter chrome mirrors that I threw on it after these pictures were taken.
https://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y4...ck/66front.jpg https://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y4...ack/66rear.jpg Cost? $0.00 I would rather have a slick fan get it than have the donation place get it and send it off to the crusher. It needs to be gone in the next two weeks so I have room for my 61 Truck camper that's going on my 66 camper special. Ron McDonald Lakewood, WA 253.503.8892 PS. I will also throw in a late model 300 for it (use the 240 head and you get some awsome compression) |

I am looking for something a bit specific-
I want a 73-79 2wd F250 standard cab longbed, with power steering, power disk brakes, and preferably an FE and four speed manual. I want one with a bad body, and an engine that needs work. I plan on ditching the body and putting on one from a 68-72 F series to make a stylish tough hauling truck. All I ask is that the frame be fairly straight, no major damage. Anybody know of something like this sitting around? |
You must really like that 68-72 reg body. Mine is a '78 Supercab for sale.
The only one I see in our papers is this but its closer to you than me. He wants a lot for it. 1973 FORD F250 RANGER CAMPER SPECIAL Power Tonneau cover, spray on bedliner & pullout truck bed tray. $5,495/obo. Kitsap 360-340-6042 Pic: http://www.nickelpublications.com/re...877235E1EC00C0 |
Hey, Jared! May have exactly what you are looking for. But you would not have to do a thing to it. My cousin, in Tacoma, has a 67 (I believe) F250 Highboy, 4x4, bored out 400, headers, dual exhaust and frame up restoral a couple years ago. It was valued at $11K at that time. It is a one owner truck. He bought it when in high school and it was his baby. He passed away last hunting season from a brain tumor and will be sorely missed. I could go on, as many thought a lot of this man, but you have to see the truck to understand that it is probably better than new. It is the best woods truck I have ever had the pleasure of hunting in. If you are interested in looking at it, I will check with his widow and arrange a look see. Jim

Hey, I know this is a trade section so I thought it would be pertinent to put in that I'll do computer work for anyone that needs parts for help on my f250. I do have a comp. science degree and know my around the wiring on the inside of boxes. + I have OS's and alot of software.

I have a couple Holley carbs up for grabs-
The first is an 1850 600CFM 4BBL with vacuum secondaries- It's clean, needs a rebuild though, since it sat for YEARS, and the gaskets are probably all dried out. The other is a 2300 350CFM 2BBL, ran great on the Galaxie, but I swapped it out for a Motorcraft 2150 and a bit better mileage. Both carbs have the Ford automatic kickdown linkage on them, and the 4BBL has a kicker solenoid for a/c. Best offer for either. |
Looking for a 7.3 diesel. Non powerstroke. Must be a good runner , would like a turbo if possible

I have a "slightly used" OEM ford rad that came out of a 1999 F250 SD V10
It is still good I took it out because I got a new one. The reason I got a new one is because I ran a #8 zip screw into it. I was installing Fog Light grounds and mis calculated the location of the bracket. I am confident that it is going to last another few years but since I panicked and bought the new one the next day I figured I might as well put it in. I put over 12K miles on the old one before changing it out today. SO in short the hole was made by a drill bit into the bottom tank. I filled the hole with a #8X1/2 aluminum screw. Then coated it with JB Weld. If someone has a need to Borrow it let me know. If you want to buy it 100.00 let me know. If you want to trade for something, Let me know. |
