02 ranger problems

I have a 02 (lev) ranger with 2.3l and when i start it up the thing revs to
2500 rpm then drops to about 750 rpm after 3to5 min.
what will cause this please help if you can.
The surging problem i have is after you drive 5 to 10 miles the truck will
start to surge and loose power once up to temp .I had to replaced the iac due to a bad stumble off idle that solved one problem .I do not have any codes coming up i had the dealer do a scan and they said there are no codes present, $80.00 wasted and no help from them if it does not tell them what is wrong they have no clue.

I have done the following.
new fuel filter
new air filter
new o2 sensor
cleaned maf
new plugs & wires
rest pcm
All this did make it run better but i still have the same problems .
i just ordered a diag. cd to start checking all the sensors on the motor.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to help solve this problem i am having.

My 03 2.3 does start up and idle above 2000 but just for a few seconds then drops back to the 750 range. The only issue I have is the accelerator sticks at idle I have to apply to much pressure to get it to come off idle then when it does come up it is to much. Hard to accelerate smoothly this way

Your throttle body could be sticking or not adjusted correctly i do not have that
problem.

The next time you start your truck up can you watch the tack and let me know
what rpm your truck goes up to at cold start up, mine is around 2500 rpm at
cold start up only.
once up to temp it will go to 1500 rpm
I have not recived my diag cd yet i will let you know what i find.
