That is one of the craziest things I've heard in all the years I've been surfing these L boards. How the hell did you crack that thing? If Ford doesn't show that piece as a seperate part # then it sounds like you are screwed cause finding a used one is pretty much impossible. These things get stripped almost before they hit the ground in a bone yard. Anything engine related on a wrecked L is normally sold with the engine.

Couldn't you just bypass it?

the only thing that broke off was the nipple. i can fix it . and it needs to be there for when ya snap the throttle plates closed to relieve pressure and prevent damage to rotors. but this is like a choke pulloff on a carb imagine having to buy a new carb because the pull off diaphragm wasnt sold seperatly. good job ford.........

Try here: www.magnusonproducts.com

You'll need to talk you way to a good tech support person, but I'll bet they can get your part.

A draw through blower doesn't need the valve to prevent boost from backing up and hurting the rotors. It's there as a passive traction control system and to reduce blower load under part throttle.

i have a 671 on a bbc and it never hurt the rotors with no bypass. but i was under impression that bypass allows virtually no parasitic loss under no load conditions. i found a valve in mi for 45.00 so i am getting it anyway thanks
