D20E Heads - 302
 

Looking for any documented information on these heads. They are from a 73 F100 - 302. Looking for volumn and valve sizes.

I pulled the my heads off today D20E and I'm looking for the same info for my 72 mustang.

well according to a book have it should look like this:

58 cc combustion chambers
1.78" intake valve
1.45" exhaust valve

port size intake 1.94" X 1.04"
............exhaust 1.24" X 1.00"

You could measure your ports and valves to see if they are the same as above, then you could be somewhat certain the cc is 58, but you should measure them to be certain. If you infact have the above heads, the ports are smaller than the 351w D0** eqivalent, just a thought, later

Thanks for the info. I did measure the ports and they do come out as you described. I had some documentation that stated 58.3 chambers but I had another source telling me 53. they probably just transposed the number. I just wanted some double check.
