V10 ignition coils

On my 2000 the spring leads do not snap in on the coil side like my later Tritons. Is there a replacement coil avail that has that and fits the plug and mount?

Not that I am awhere of.
There really is no need for a snap on type connection.
The spring at normal design length is long enough to stay on the coil terminal and set on the plug cap.
The spring should be a good spring friction fit on the coil terminal and need to be pulled on pretty good to get it off.
If the spring end is distorted or short for some reason then replacement or stretching it a bit in the middle area is all that is needed.
When the coil boot is on the coil, the spring should come quite near the boot tip as the plug ends compressing the spring up at least an inch up inside the boot and will engage the spring quite firmly at both ends.
Good luck..
