Motorcraft seem to work the best. I have had the best luck taking them out with the engine warm using a 3/8 impact.

A 3/8" impact? Really? If you read the Ford TSB, it would seem that using an impact would be really bad. Not saying you are wrong, just saying it doesn't jibe at all with the Ford-recommended procedure for removing the plugs.

Really. That's what worked best for me. Just don't put them back in with an impact lol. I worked at a dealer for 10 years. When one guy finds a successfull shortcut most everyone started using it. Picked that one up from a few guys I went to a driveability class with and I always broke less plugs with an impact, personally. Results may vary though.

I always use Motor craft on my truck and my customers trucks also. Same with coils I've had bad luck with aftermarket coils.

I have almost 40k miles on the Champions. I know they won't be a pain to get out when I change them. The truck has run fine with them in. :-X22
