Replacing front tank tube assembly.

Hello. I disconnected my front tank supply and return fuel lines from the sending unit, and broke the connection where the supply line connects to the sender. OEM parts from the Dealer are about $188 for a new tube assembly. Anyone know a cheaper venue for this part? Part number is F5TZ-9H334-D. Thanks in advance.

You can just cut it off and use a rubber hose with clamps. Double or triple clamps each side.

Did you break the pickup, or the sender? The sender is attached to the pickup, but they're not "connected", per se.

I thought he meant the quick disconnect line broke that attaches to the sender lines on the outside of the tank.

The sender is electrical. This is what's confusing.

Just to clarify... the quick disconnect clip located inside the hose where it connects to the top of the fuel tank (sending unit?) became disfigured when I removed it. I didn't use the fuel line disconnect tool correctly. I thought the entire hose had to be replaced. After bad info from the dealership saying I had to replace both hoses, my local mechanic told me you can replace the clips with NAPA aftermarket parts. Picked some up last night for a few bucks, problem solved. I almost spent $200 buying two new hoses.... My mechanic saved me some serious cash.

That's good to know!
