Rear turn signals? (63 flareside)

Slowly working on a 63 f100 Flareside. Ordered new tailights and brackets from LMC, kind of figuring they would have turn signals in them. Not looking like it. Where were the OEM rear turn signals?

What do you mean by " turn signal in them?" The bulb is a two filament bulb to provide a low running light and bright turn and brake .

The after market tail lights on it now have 3 wires, the signal wire is triggered by an aftermarket turn signal (the one from LMC). The new tail lights that I ordered only have 2 wires.

I have a feeling this is going to turn into a much larger project then anticipated.

I think the green and yellow is correct. The black is probably a ground for the aftermarket light. Original ones grounded through the light itself.

Upper pic: 1955/66 Flareside "shield" tail lamps. 1955/60's have FORD molded into the lens, 1961/66's were plain.

The left lamp incorporates the license plate lamp. The mounting brackets and the license lamp bracket are the same as used with the round lamps. that were used 1953/54.

LMC's aftermarket lamps are sorta similar to what FoMoCo began installing in 1967, as they incorporate backup lamps.
