51 F1 hood hinges welded to cab?
 

Going over stuff on the cab and found my drivers side hood hinge is tack welded to the cab. Factory or farmer?
Also are the 3 studs supposed to have nuts on the inside of the cab? I would think so but both sides of my cab have a nut only on the one stud? I want to take these off to clean up, should they just come off after the nuts are off and the welds cleaned off? More strange stuff on this truck.

Well, that's one way to keep them in adjustment! Should be nuts and washers on all the studs, no welds.

OK so farmer fix it is. Welds will come off and will go back to factory.

If your hood is aligned where the hinges are, be sure to mark them so you can put them back in the same place with minimal hassle.

I see at least two studs partially broken off. If you need a set in better condition, I have several.

"Factory or Farmer" would make a good name for a Quiz Show.
