are all OBD codes the same no matter what vehicle the 5.4L is in??

(Yes I messed up its a 4.6L not a 5.4L)

I just bought a 2005 CVPI with 4.6L ( I asked in the crown Vic forums but not a lot of folks on that forum)

seems to run great!!

only codes I pulled are P061B and P2106 what are they?

I guess they could be OLD CODES from a previous issue and were not erased....

are the codes engine or vehicle specific?

any help would be great

All GO to QE1 .

P2106 - Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) System - Forced Limited Power
Description: The TAC system is in the failure mode effects management (FMEM) mode of forced limited power. This DTC indicates the FMEM action is in effect due to a failure in an electronic throttle control (ETC) related component or module.
Possible Causes:
Diagnostic Aids: This DTC is an informational DTC and may be set in combination with a number of other DTCs which are causing the FMEM. Diagnose other DTCs first.

If there are no current or known recent issues, reset the PCM and drive it normally to see if any faults return.

Try the Crownvic.net. I've been a member there for a couple of years now, it's a pretty good site.
