timing for propane
i have a 1994 f250 351w c6 auto on straight propane. i need to get it though an emissions test so i want to check the timing.
my question is where is the timing supposed to be on this setup . i am also assuming that this engine uses a spout connector and that it should be disconnected in order to check and set timing. any propane guys out there . p.s. my keyboard cannot produce question marks or hyphens, so i am not as dumb as i appear in text .;) |
Depends, If the dist was recurved approx 6deg over gasoline intial. If not or it is not limited in some way no more than 3 or 4
The problem is total advance. Most LP engines run best at 28-32 degrees total advance. Good Luck |
