My truck always runs cold. New thermostat and water pump. Any ideas?

That looks completely normal for one of these trucks with a stock motor, if you also get plenty of heat out of the core then there is nothing wrong with your truck.

What degree thermostat are you running? If your not kicking out any trouble codes I would not worry .At least your not running too hot thats the good thing .Some of those Ford factory gauges are not all that accurate .

I wouldn't worry about it. It should be fine. Plus, as someone else already said, Ford gauges aren't always the most reliable.

My '94 shorty F150 runs on the N fully warmed up, new water pump, rad and Ford 192* thermostat.

My 1990 F250 Diesel doesn't even reach the N fully warmed up, and my 87 E350 camper runs on the M-A and real gauge reading around 185-190.

Stock dash gauges in these trucks are useless. Your reading looks perfectly normal for a warmed up Ford. If your worried, get a real gauge.

Every truck of this era I have seen runs around the N or O.
