Texas Edition?

I noticed that Ford now has a Texas edition F-150 from some commercials. And on top of that there's a Texas edition Tahoe/Siverado? or whatever.

So what's the deal with that? Why? Is there a California edition? Rhode Island? :-wow

I wouldn't know the exact answer, but Ford had something similar years ago. My old 84' F150 was a Limited Edition Texas Lariat. Very nice truck. To my knowledge, that one is the only one I have seen as far as a state edition goes.

The "Texas Edition" I've seen are usually "low end" models w/a tirm package, Rubber mats, etc. Dodge had the "Lone Star" edition, at least here in Texas. I remember when Ford had the California Special Mustangs. They really were "Special" though!:-tap

Is that the King Ranch edition? or something like that. I thought i was packaged for mostly hauling horses around

Ford has a Northwest edition, just a trim package. I thought the King Ranch was in Wyoming. Not sure. I've seen a Huntsman edition 73-9, and northwoods edition 80-6. They are all just trim levels.

There is a TX/OK edition F-150 that sells for $14,588. V-6, 5 speed, regular cab, short wide bed. No options except for dealer installed window tint.

If they built a Califorina Edition....it would have to have 2 steering wheels. You know for those "special couples" who like to both have a say-so in deciding where to go as they say....fd:eek: :-D :-X05 Oo. Oo.

Most manufacturer's produce such model's as a P.R. excersise.
Sometime's they catch on and sometime's they don't.

My honest opinion. Texas is the best so we deserve a special truck. Or at least thats what we like to believe in Texas.

Hey there Billy! The King Ranch Edition and the heritage Edition are two different trucks. I think your a little mixed up. Go to your ford dealer and get the correct information. The Heritage Edition is the 100 year Model and the Heritage is the body style.

yeah the king ranch is in kingsville i think. i live 3 or 4 hours away from it.

The King Ranch is in Texas - about the size of Wyoming.
