That's the thread. In all fairness to him, I must have been on the rag that day. I was just miffed that he didn't read the post I spent time finding for him and posting before he snap responded. I've done exactly what he did though so I'm no better. It just left a bad impression that I should get over, but I haven't }> :-X04:-X04 |

The cat got the part? Surprised you didn't put the cat in the freezer like Lynn did.
I unloaded more warm weather. ony hit 29F last night and already at freezing. Ice was easy to remove today from the truck because of it and then minutes after driving it streams of water starting falling down the windshield from the cab lights. I understand that the parkas are out in Miami too. Low's the upper 50s. They may cancel schools there due to extreme cold. |
Andrea, that settlement you referenced is only in regards to the CARB fines.
The 96 million fine was from the EPA. EDIT: Oh, and that guy who was bashing you about the HID's seems like a real piece of work. |

They will not be able to afford to pay a 96 million dollar fine ....... no matter how long they give them. :'(

To gross $96M all they need to do is sell 96,000 units if we assume the average unit sold is $1000... Now I don't know what it costs them to actual make each unit. (Not including development costs) And of course you have a human salary factor in there too.
I would think that between the big three they sold at least, if not a lot more, than 96000 units. I do agree that they couldn't hope to pay the $96m fine though. |
Furnace running !!!
Found the part........Put the ignitor back in, furnace fired up..... The repair guy showed up...... Put the cover back on...sealing the combustion chamber......furnace shuts down. Repair guy goes out back....looks at the air intake. Frozen over! Remove the icy-snow........The furnace fires back up. It would have taken me ???? Forever to have realized the lack of free flowing air from outside to the combustion chamber was causing an interlock to shut down the furnace. Another school day.........:-X22 |
The EPA is just a "tool" for the Traitor to destroy the United States.....:-arrgh:-arrgh

Glad you have heat again Roy! I wouldn't have thought to check that either. I would have called Darren for help and he would have told me to do it, lol.
