Sliding rear window track seal

I got a sliding rear window for my truck out of the junkyard and the seals that the inner glass pieces slide on are in need of replacement. Does anyone know where I can get these? I couldn't find them on LMC.

I did some searching on the internet about this last year and only really found out that it is not reproduced.

Some have had luck with using a universal channel gasket or universal windlace, but there were no real specifics.

I would remove it and take it to a local glass shop to see what they could come up with.

Good luck and be sure to post your findings.

Run, back window glass
Fits 73-up F100-350 w/sliding rear window
Lower D0TZ-10422A20-A
Upper D0TZ-10422A36-A
I was unable to locate any of the upper runs and only one lower run. Unfortunately the dealer that has it is Bob Allen Ford. He has a reputation of really jacking up the prices on obsolete parts so be prepared.
Another thing to note, the part number they have it listed under is actually incorrect. This is a very common problem with Ford when the year ID in the part is "0". It is very often entered as the letter "O" instead of the numeric "0". They have it listed with the letter O in DOTZ.
DOTZ-10422A20-A
Bob Allen Ford, Overland Park, KS has 1 (913) 381-2999
Just to give you a little ammo incase you call them. Last list price from Ford $40.02, dealer cost $24.02
Good Luck

Ok thanks.

Another question. I've heard of guys putting in electric sliding windows in these trucks. Where can I get one of those?

Sorry for pulling this thread from the dead. But I have a one piece sliding rear window on my 77 and I tried replacing with felt and that worked it horribly. Any recommendations what type of track seal to use?

Bringing this one back to the top. I’m also trying replace the seal inside the sliding rear track, but haven’t been able to find anything that works. Anyone know of any replacement stripping that might work?

thanks

REAR WINDOW SEAL

I bought a kit for one of my 79's years ago from JBG. It was an OEM rear sliding window felt. It's held up great! You might check them out! Not sure if they still have it tho. I looked there a couple of years ago for more but they were out of stock. So, I just installed a new slider from a 1996.

Thanks for the help guys!

Does anyone know what the part number for the track itself that the rear window slides in or where i could find one of those?
