Escape head bolt torque specs? 3.0L V6 DOHC

vin code #1. Where can I locate the cylinder head bolt torque specifications? In the Chilton's manual it states six steps, was wondering if this is accurate?

1. 30 ft-lbs
2. tighten an additional 90 degrees
3. loosen one full turn 360 degrees
4. 30 ft-lbs
5. tighten an additional 90 degrees
6. tighten an additional 90 degrees

does this sound right?

What year? That is the procedure for an 03, for example.

Keep in mind that the bolts are TTY and are not reusable. They must be replaced when the head is re-installed.

Stage 2: Tighten bolts 90 degrees.
Stage 3: Loosen one full turn.
Stage 4: Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
Stage 5: Tighten 90 degrees.
Stage 6: Tighten 90 degrees.

thank you

I had a front end collision cracking the cylinder head and am losing anti freeze out the tail pipe. I can't afford to have a garage do the job. will buy a used head from a junk yard. just hope it isn't warped and the surfaces mate up good. thanks again. I feel more confident now.
