Pilot bearing for 52 three speed

Replacing the clutch on my 52 three speed transmission. My flywheel has a bushing, not a pilot bearing. New clutch kit includes pilot bearing. Should I press out the bushing & replace with the pilot bearing, or leave it as is. Truck has been running with combo (bushing trans spline/shaft).
Thanks!

Some folks like the bushing because even when wallered out, they don't seize up. Nevertheless, I went with the bearing, because it has less drag when the clutch is pushed in and doesn't allow any wobble.

If you look at the bearing, I'd about guarantee it's made in China. Just make sure it has grease in it before you install it.

Thanks for the info. This is my first rebuild of a "pre-1970" truck, so i'm learning alot. First I've ever seen with a bushing. Planning to drop the Engine & trans in tomorrow! Thanks again.
