Afternoon guys!

Eric I have some thoughts for you, but it will have to wait till I'm not on my phone.

Cory, drag link is correct, you don't need to get the adjuster, but you will need an alignment...

Jay, it was all highway, but I got 16 out to Troy's... Miss my 6.0 milage...

What did you get in that dually?

All highway I do ok. At least I used too. Haven't done any of that either for a long time.

When we had my tranny out there was no soot and I have looked before and all looked good.

I wonder if my EBP line is clogged with soot? I tried to take it off once to check and couldn't. Sensor looked ok though.

Yeah I think my is EBP tube clogged a little also as I was throwing a soft code for exhaust back pressure something or another. My old tube is ready to twist off so I bought a new one last summer but have not got it on yet but will now at the gtg for sure if not before.

Chris, I averaged about 20 all together...

Wow Jay, I get almost that with my V10. I average 9 towing 8 with the boat behind the 5er. It must be your lead foot.

DieselCamper01 04-04-2011 02:05 PM

Haha Lee. It doesn't matter if I get on it or take it easy it was still down there this last summer. It was a little better the summer before.

DieselCamper01 04-04-2011 02:09 PM

Eric would this work for your dually?

Just like we discussed this weekend I wonder how much of a difference it would be if your old dually was 4wd.....?

Sounds like we should take and burn the soot out of it at the gtg when we test out the chips!!

Sounds like a good plan Troy. I need to start soaking that fitting I think.

DieselCamper01 04-04-2011 02:17 PM

And I need to figure out where my antifreeze is going...

MisterCMK 04-04-2011 03:42 PM

Out of the cooling system...

Yeah I would soak that sucker down good. That is why I bought a new tube I could see Ihad little or no chance of getting it iff in one piece.

I am assuming your oil level isn't going up?

DieselCamper01 04-04-2011 03:59 PM

I new I left that door too far open for you Chris. But where is it going from there?

No it hasn't Troy. No drips anywhere. I made a mark on the degas bottle when I first discovered this and the level seems to have dropped a little since then even. Kind of in the monitoring stage right now.

Dunno. But, at 5:13, I'd be staring up at 6mpg longingly.
