Navteq 9p Download

I know this is an old thread, but I figure I'll resurrect it for anyone else that might stumble upon it via Google and need some answers.

Navteq 9P is the latest version that I can find available for download right now. (I did this same thing with 8P about a year ago, so hopefully the trend will continue). FYI - I use these in a 2008 Ford Expedition EL Limited.

I downloaded the torrent file from here: Ford Navigation DVD 9P (download torrent) - TPB but there are a few places you can find it. Be sure you click on the correct download link - these sites are notorious for having ads that look legit with a big Download button that actually downloads something else that you don't want. Then you just need to have a torrent program (I downloaded uTorrent) that will go and download the actual files, which are over 7GB. This download will take a while and actually contains three files - an .iso, an .mds, and a text file.

Once you have the files downloaded, you just need to write them to a DVD+R DL (double layer) disc. This is due to the size of the file - it won't fit on a normal DVD. I downloaded the program ImgBurn to burn to disc. Just select the .iso file (or it may prompt you to select the .mds file instead - do it) and burn it to disc.

Then just replace the disc in the slot behind your faceplate and you should be good to go.
