Most utes are $795 (dual cab) to $995 for single cab, F-series 8ft beds are $1195. Doing the upper edges are $135 extra on the F-series.

If your giving prizes away for nicest truck we can ofer up a partial discount as prize.

Hi Jeff, if you can put a display together in the back of your ute I can't see any problems with having a display. When we park the F-series up, we'll get everyone to have their vehicle with the fronts facing the viewing area, and you can have your vehicle with the load area towards the front. I'm sure we'll get lots of ute drivers looking at the F-series display so make sure you have a good stock of business cards to give out!

Thank you Brian and SSSimon. Will do.

Tassi F series die hard

Hi Brian,
My names Luke and I live and breath Fords and F series trucks. I currently own a 94 F250 supercab 4x4 diesel. Its mostly stock the way God (Ford) intended. My daily job is to own and run and F series modification and repair business for all F series Trucks, new and old, with Automatic Transmission overhauls and bullet proofing my speciality.
I too would be interested in joining the fold and making the trip to Canberra next year.

Hi guys and girls. My name is Darren and I've only been a proud Effie owner for 8 months, although always been a BIG Ford fan, F trucks especially.
I run a commercial sand quarry in W.A and am in the middle of rebuilding my '79 F100 6x4.

ChunderDownUnder 04-29-2011 01:46 AM

G'Day Darren and welcome to FTE m8. Just had a look through ya album. Thats one tuff looking truck. You must be proud as punch after putting all that effort in. Great job m8.

chrapladm 04-29-2011 01:50 AM

Dags did you have any problems with government or registering a vehicle like that in your avatar?

I have plans for a future build but I am pretty sure they will say no to most of my ideas.

Dags 04-29-2011 04:50 AM

No it wasn't really any problem.
Double skin chassis and brakes on the rear was necessary along with the obvious engineers sign off.
It's only good for 1900kg's on the tray but can pull 4500kg's gross.
Once the rebuild is complete and the bank balance is restored I'll be taking it to 6x6 status, but that's going to take some work.

Thanks Brian, but I cant take all the credit. The conversion was half done when I got it, and I just got it finished and signed off.
I will be VERY proud after this final build is done though, it'll be one nasty weapon.
