i think some fun hunting too is hunting tree rats! they are hard to find and are very small targets..it really helps hon hunting skills |

Haha very true. Oh ya, I definitely lied when I said "the funnest". speaking of rats we do gopher hunts that are a blast (No pun intended). A barrell out of each window and you are good to go. Usually 22 & 17 HMR

Squirrel stew is good eats, yall'!
Sage rats (ground squirrel) are thick in Central Oregon, you can burn a brick of CCI mini mag 22s in a day and kill hundreds of em'.......the alfalfa farmers love you for it, just don't leave any trash behind, and you will always be welcomed back. |

Agreed. between 3 shooters we went through almost 2000 rounds in one wekend. And I'm not being cocky but we dont miss too many because we have those guns hitting push pins at 100 yds
|
So 1500+ rats in a weekend with 3 people. crazy fun. More fun than grown men should have with rifles haha.

I uh, got lost halfway down the page.....

.....but I do have a newfound appreciation for science, lol

Sat up on top a big hay bale, have Anshutz .22lr 184 sporter for the 100+ yard work with a Ziess 2.5x9 scope, a Ruger 10/22 with high cap mags and red dot for medium work, and a S&W mod 422 .22 pistol for the real close ones. KILLED hundreds of the little barstards and did not make a dent!.....
Out side of manning a .30 cal mini gun on a Blackhawk in Afghanistan, there is no more fun to be had! |
i have an ugly remington 22 cant remember the model now.. i have killed more thani could count with that thing.. i can hit whoopers(malt balls) at 100 yards not even trying..the malt balls are fun cause they explode..
