Never had a problem dropping them before with it. That's all I've ever shot with. Now, I'd like to get a 30.06 someday.

I know a guy who uses .243 Win.............but he is good enough to be a USMC Recon sniper......the guy is GOOD.

i love my 30-06... i have a browning bar 30-06...its a beauty!!

My mom used a .243 for a lot of her hunting. That's what she got her big-horn sheep with.

Maybe someday, when the kids are gone, I can afford to go back to Wyoming to hunt again.

Got a .338win mag BAR love it too............but $51.00 for a box of ammo makes shooting too spendy........no dies to reload it yet.

Man, that is pricey....but I bet it gets the job done!

I bought it as a joke......never needed something that heavy, not like I am headed to Africa ever!........but I love the way it shoots, and semi auto makes it recoil LESS than many 30.06 bolt actions I have shot. Kicks MUCH less than my Ruger 77 .300win mag...........but damn its heavy!

Hey, nothing like hunting with an anti-aircraft gun!LOL! My brother has a .300 mag, I really like that.

The WORST recoiling rifle I have ever fired was .30-06 Browning A-bolt Featherweight, that thing kicked SO hard with 180gr loads that it made your gums bleed after 3 rounds at the range. I traded it on a nice 9mm Beretta 92 S/S........I got the better part of the deal!

yeah my hunting ammo is 40.. but i buy good stuff lol
