Outside of Alaska, you can't beat the PNW! WA, OR, ID are where its at!
California is grubby, dirty, and crowded.........not even in the same league.
Ever BBQ salmon steaks?......MMMMMM!!
The BBQed trout are hard to beat though, when we get bigger trout in the 18-25" range they go in the smoker or go on the BBQ and feed 4 people.

Now, if I could only work it out to come up during Elk season....
