The set-up is unique: they have single "Camping-type" cabins, a couple small "lodges" with 4-8 rooms in them and then the main "Inn" which is more like a hotel. We are calling in our reservations today for next week, if they still have something open that is. We are trying for Tuesday thru Thursday. Where all did you go and what did you do while you were there? We are going to try and do a little trout fishing and maybe some hiking. I think the hiking will just depend on how the wife feels. We are going to try and take some pictures of the fall foliage while we are there too. I'll let you know how it turns out, and might post a few pictures too.

It should be really nice in the mornings there next week, enjoying a cup of coffee on the balcony.

We went to Amicalola Falls State Park (about 15 minutes from Forrest Hills)---great hiking and photo opportunities there. We visited Dahlonega, GA for a day and did some shopping, visited the Gold Mine Museum and had dinner at a new BBQ place downtown next to one of the antique shops. We were thinking of doing some gem-grubbing or gold mining, but opted out. Finally, we visited a couple of the apple farms near Ellijay and picked up some pies and few types of cider,

I need a place to do some work on my van, I can't work on it at home, this really sux since I have a run next weekend and need to replace my wheel seal before it, the mountains will create a lot of heat.
