That actually sounds like a reasonable price for x5 roofs, all in. is that 5 seperate roofs?

We need pics of the 75 if you buy it..

Good picture thread of some nice trucks at a show in the OBS forum right now. Wish I lived in a place that didnt salt the roads...

That is 5 small separate single roofs, a few are smaller but most are in the 12 x 24 size.
So far I haven't been able to get a time to see the 75, I was hoping to see it today so the anticipation is building. :-X16
Some very nice rides there. :-X22

For some reason I always think of the Gaspe peninsula as part of NB. It’s a nice part of the world. I’d like to get back out there in the nearish future.

That seems like it would be a very reasonable price today in my area Morris.

Saw a Country modified A-frame home totally ablaze going to the Kids place. The Fire Department had a sprayer on a Boom like a cherry picker but that spray on top of the totally ablaze home did nothing but slow embers flying mostly.
The place was probably less than 5 minutes from falling into the basement super-hot coals. total loss. Could see the fire miles away, but about 1/4 mile north of the I-state. 7:00 in the morning, sure they got out of it safe.

Saw the other day that Scotty Scheffler was arrested for passing 2 LEO Squad roadblock He made it to the tee time though.

I think this is considerably less than what other roofers would charge. Rick did my house and 24 x 24 double garage for $2,800 4 yrs ago, wish I had gotten all my roofs done then.

JJF20 05-20-2024 09:35 AM

$2,800 is pretty darn good. I’m cringing at getting quotes for the shop roof. I’ll do the sheds myself to save a few dollars.

Fomoko1 05-20-2024 11:56 AM

One of my rental houses is a two story with a steep pitch so Rick won't do it and I'm afraid that one will be very expensive.

Papa Tiger 05-20-2024 10:16 PM

$10,000 doesn’t get much done here, law says they have to remove the old shingles and redo all.
Thinking Metal next time, and solar atop. Got to cut down a big tree first. Ugh.

Hi Jeff, Papa, Brian.
My tin roofs are galvanized so no problem with fading.

I helped my dad cover the corn crib with galvanized Steel-special nails to penetrate it and seal.
I suppose silicone is use a lot 2 now? Tax wise most all those buildings are gone now.

27.5c here today. Felt like a hot summer day. I’ll probably use galvanized tin roof for the sheds, the shop though will be shingles again. House is a faded red tin roof.. it’s going to stay that way too!

Fomoko1 05-21-2024 07:18 PM

Hi Papa, Jeff. We're down to a pretty small crew now.
Nothing wrong with faded red, I kind of like it.
