And there's an old diesel ambulance body truck that goes around here, with no license plate and blackout lighting sometimes. I think it's running meth across our county from the one next door toward Jersey/NYC, but that's unrelated. Mention of running shine reminded me of it.

The brother-in-law of a Mennonite farmer a half mile from where we live recognized our truck coming from behind us with a 30-40 foot trailer, turned around with it in the highway, and gave us a jump start that barely got us home(no headlights the last few miles, to save juice for the coil).

yeah. that just sucks dude. had the voltage regulator die in my 76. fortunately i was in the town where i went to school when it quit and was only 12 miles from home. then i was at track practice and told my buddies to see if the new regulator had fixed it. there are still black marks on the highway from THAT... lol.

Well if turning the headlights and fog lights on then yeah. but no my friends dad checked the timing on the truck and it was at 8 deg so lol he knocked it up and told me to go drive it and it runs a 10000 times better lol i get back tell him this says no pinging and he told me the timing is set at 18 deg now haha when i get my new egr and fix the exhaust leak i probably will have to reset the timing. oh and i had to get the old beast jumped for some reason i keep losing connection. and i rode in a 1989 F-350 4x4 reg cab 5.8 with a ZF HD trans omg im in love.

ah, i get what youre sayin matt. i dont think they did, in an effort to keep to the more utilitarian usability and functionality of the f-series trucks and the broncos.

Hitokori 03-10-2010 09:57 PM

well that sucks >.>

somebody needs to pimp slap henry ford

lmao dig his old dead ass up and smack the crap out of him

460/5 03-10-2010 09:59 PM

lmao! i could build you one that would hug like a roll pan, but be distinctly be a bumper, and can take a hit from a bigrig...

Hitokori 03-10-2010 10:42 PM

i can do that >.> *sigh*

just have to find some place to chrome plate it

probably be better than a stamped one too because then i could add some auxiliary backup lights

460/5 03-10-2010 10:43 PM

i know a place that can chrome it... if you want to come to nebraska...

Hitokori 03-10-2010 10:46 PM

460/5 03-10-2010 10:47 PM
