Glad you or that car didn't run into them. That would have sucked.

Took the long way home tonight. Went from work to Benson,to Brogden, to Pine level, through Selma and ending in Garner. Nice way to end a day of work and start the evening with the family.

Man what a nice day after work to ride. I did the same thing, just different routes. Lol. It was one of those days where you have a huge smile the entire ride. I had plenty of room to avoid her that day but she wasn't paying attention and when he turned she didn't see the back of the trailer and couldn't have missed it by inches. As for the kill switch incident, I am just glad that is all it was. Scares me that one day we are gonna come out of a BBQ place somewhere and one of the bikes let us know they didn't get none and we can walk. Lol. but it's ok if it happens I got a truck and a trailer, all we would have to do is wait for it to get there. Well parts just got here so back to work. Be good and keep it shiney side up. Talk to ya soon my friend.

That's a good looking bike and seems nicely equipped. Low miles too. Hope he finds a good home for it. I appreciate you asking about it and relaying the information. Just not on my radar at the moment.

I'm shopping hard though and hope to have something in the barn in a few weeks.

Here's my ride... 1990 FLHTCU, Ultra Classic. It's a beast. I re-painted it with spray-on truck bedliner so it has a textured, flat black look. Never chips and never needs washing (well, maybe once a year I get the bugs off).

Nice bike and the flat black look is in right now. Maybe one day when the weather is nicer we can schedule one of the monthly dinners out your way and meet up to check it out. What's up with the side covers? I still notice a bit of red on there. The International Motorcycle Show is the weekend of Feb. 28th in Charlotte. Trying to get enought to make the trip and have a meet and greet.Probably wont happen but hey it's worth a try. Maybe have the monthly dinner there that weekend. See if we can get together with some of the members over there.:-drink

The red is to honor my oldest daughter who loved to ride with me. She was killed 4 years ago this week in a car accident with her best friend - 16 years and 4 months old. Red was her favorite color so I keep a little on there for her. On the plus side, I feel like she's on there EVERY time I ride now. Life throws us all a curve ball now and then but if you handle it right it doesn't have to be a strike.

The black is really more for utility than anything else. I have no desire to wash and polish the thing - just ride it!

I'd love to meet up some time but my weekends are packed - too many kids still at home. But if I'm free I'll be there!

So sorry for your family's loss. As a parent my heart goes out to y'all. Nice that you honor her on your bike.

I like the flat black mad max look. Glad you posted up.

I went and looked at a 99 kz1000p Saturday. Looking for a commuter to replace mine. WP went with for another set of eyes. Turned out to be a full project. Not just needing freshing up. It was puking fluids from just about every orifice. Needless to say I drove off with an empty trailer.

Wisdom is the man who can walk away with an empty trailer! Good luck on the hunt - I'm sure there's a creampuff waiting under some beach toys and lawn chairs in someone's garage.

Look what followed me home from south carolina last weekend.

Pretty well sorted for a 25 year old thumper. It still needs some attention in a few spots. And I'll need to add a few personal touches (which is already underway).

This thing has the raw power of nine angry donkeys.

A little more info, please.

James, I just ordered the fairing for mine last night. This bike is going to keep me in the poorhouse. Lol. I got a question for the CB peoples out there. I'm thinking about putting one on the bike for the rides with larger groups, The problem is, the weather and my usual ability to get soaking wet while out riding. Question is , Does a Marine CB radio pick up the 40 channels of regular mobile Cb radio ? Never did anything with a marine radio so I don't know, but I found a nice one reasonably priced. I would like to find out before any purchase. :-X22

Did some research and it will not work. Different frequencies. So I got the answer I needed. On to more shopping, Lol.

Saturday after doing all the yard work I spooned on some new shoes for the mule and we went and got dirty.
