A lot of brands differ, and most under-measure the supposed height.

The old ones are off brand junk tires I got from some guy down the street. These are general grabber at2.

They probably were well under-measure. Have you put the tape measure to the old and new tires and gotten actual measurements?

Not yet. Not that concerned.

If the old ones are still mounted on the rims and the new one isn't on a rim that would make a difference too

I took that into consideration. it's still a noticeable difference. I'm going from bald to lots of tread though. That alone should make some difference. There's still a chance I may go to 35s next time I get tires.

It seems i have a power steering leak in my truck after doing that steering box. I'll have to get around to checking the fittings again

If you can find one, I'd recommend a steel core gasket. Had good luck with them so far and I know many people love them.

The rest of my tires are out for delivery now. Ups man is going to hate me because it's 8 degrees out.

my brakes freezing/ getting stuck when parked for awhile seems to have fixed itself, boy for awhile those brakes were GRABBY it was either no brakes or full on brakes wheels sliding type thing, which sucked in snow and ice

I do actually read the super duty forum a couple times a week, never posted, but they are a great bunch of guys. I got to see Miles' white CC at a dyno day up in MA at Minuteman truck (Wade's place of business), last month. Man, what a beautiful truck that is!

I've read a lot in the 6.0 forum here too, and also on a couple of diesel sites, just to get information and opinions. At some point, I will take the plunge into a 6.0, when the right truck at the right price at the right time appears. :)

Yes Miles truck is awesome but I don't think it is going to get the highest dyno numbers being that is isn't modified as much as some. I am always in the super duty forum (love showing off the 02). Wish you luck on your search.
