New to the group so I'll try to get some pictures of my "big brown ford" on here when I get home from school sometime to day or something. It's my all original 1978 Ford F-250 3/4 ton pickup with the Ranger XLT trim and some new tires.

Hello this group sounds like me. I have built my truck from many donor trucks. I call her Frankenford. Because of parts from this parts from that. It is a F250 87 body. It has a Jasper 351w. A New Process 435 and NP 205 transfer out of a 79 the rear end is a dana 61 out of 81 F350 4.10 ratio. The front rear center section out of an 85. Just added a dayton add aleaf kit rebuilt front end balljoints bushings axles ujoints seals ect. And added 315 75 16 tires. Y'all get the picture. It started out as a utility body truck but salt from snowplowing finally took its toll on the bed and it had to go. Thanks for the oportunity to introduce me and Frankenford.

Bypassbill all I can say is dont trust the in dash voltmeter the one in my truck has totally different reading than the aftermarket one i installed. My in dash one will bounce up and down when the blinker flashes the aftermarket is rock steady at 14.3 v but i also have a generation three 130 amp alternator so shouldnt drop voltage just from a blinker
