FMC firetruck.. full custom build.. now going through a frame off resto and buildup.. a three year project
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
change from long wheelbase to short wheelbase utilizing a donor SWB frame
de-smogged and built 370
trying to 4wdb it utilizing b700 rotors and f550 calipers and hydrovac.. I think I can do it with just some minor hub machining,, IF I can get the calipers to fit unside the 20 inch wheels.. and I think I can
Suspension Modifications:
poly bushings, greasable shackles
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
Converted from a dually to 46" mich XML's on stazworks custom wheels.. super singles..
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
stock ... but will be using a painless ignition late model wiring harness... no more glass fuses
Future Modifications:
Exo cage it... change from a center pumper to slide in wild land portable rig.. so I can use the truck for other things when not set up for fire
The sky is the limit... welder, generator, scene lights, off road lights, custom bumpers.. anything I can enjoy welding and showing off my skill
