I'm just getting to read your pm. I appreciate the advice, I have the motor and trans pulled. I'm looking for machine shops in northern nj to go through my 300-6. Would you happen to know of anyone?

I recommend purchasing a motor and having it rebuilt or freshened so you can still use the truck. Gather all your parts, and once you get everything,set a date and have at it. Make sure you bag and tag every nut,bolt,screw,etc. take plenty of pictures before and after so you have references to look back at. I have some extra parts from my rebuild so pm me if you need anything. Maybe I can be of some help. Good luck!!
