i did not swap the body onto a newer frame i swapped the engine into my 73 frame with the donor truck crossmember, i am working on putting together a crew cab right now and i am going to put the body on the newer frame will be alot easier and a lot less thought went have the oil filter clearence problems i have and the steering will not be a head ache and constantly worry about it failing

Did you do a build thread on your 7.3 swap? If so I'd love to see it, I'm hoping to do the same thing with my 79 dent. Did you swap engines or did you put the body on a diesel truck chasis? I'm not sure wich direction to go, body swap to a newer diesel chasis or engine swap, any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you Jim
