Steve beat me over here, but I agree with him. The only thing that I know of that can cause minor underboost like that is a dirty turbo. It could be a sensor out of range, but not very likely. I wouldn't wait on it though. Because if it can underboost from gunk, it can just as easily overboost, which can be bad news. A sharp shop like Domestic Diesel can probably have that thing out and reconditioned for a couple of hours labor.

I'm have P0299 underboost issues, pulling that code after back from Minn.
