Hey cheezit, i seen some of your post where you helped someone diagnose their 6.0 powerstroke problem. you seem like you really know your stuff and was wondering if you could help me out with my 2004 6.0 powerstroke. Truck seems to have a particular problem that I haven't been able to find any where else. I have looked and researched and wrenched on the truck for the last 6 months trying to fix it and just can't find anything.
The truck will start fine cold, and has trouble hot. This isn't a normal no start hot or anything like that. One of three things will happen trying to start the truck hot. 1. It will fire and die instantly. 2. It will start and turn 200 rpms and slowly work its way up to idle speed. 3. I will hold the key over until it has enough rpms to stay running. There is no smoke out the tail pipe.
