Conversation Between Thunderduckie and Bobbys Big Red Rig

Got the Eagle book last year and Tails from the Trail this year. Seems like the older I get the more it means to me. A few years ago my wife had a shadow box made with a uniform shirt, merit badges and skill awards, plus various other patches. I am from Anderson SC, born and raised. Grandmother got me into scouts, troop was sponsored by a textile mill. We did not have fancy tents, bottomless canvas two mans. But man did we have fun. At the time our troop had produced more Eagles than any other troop in the Blue Ridge Council. Be active in scouting with your son. my dad became a committee member just before I became an Eagle, meant a lot to me.

Hey buddy. Dug out the old camp box tonight and had a trip down memory lane. Should have seen my boy get al fired up about joining Scouts this year. Are you still active? Also, how about some pics of your rig...I'm looking for some ideas for mine.
