Checked your response to a guy that had an error code with his F150. I have a 90 F150 with the 5.8L Got the same codes 98 and 53. Would the TPS cause my truck to idle high? When I start the truck it goes above 2000 rpm. Most times higher.. THis idle problem crosses over into the way it drives as it will take the rpm's high before it shifts. (its an automatic).. Any info would help.. Thanks..
