You can get a bolt from HD, or call our tech line at 1-734-384-7804 and they can get one to you. In regards to the boot we suggest using the bot but it is a personal choice as well. Feel free to e-mail pics to support@gorancho.com and I will post them on our Facebook page as well. Thanks Matt

I ordered 4 Rancho 9000XL's and a steering stabilizer for a 2005 6.0L 4WD Excursion. Everything is good except for the bolt and nut assembly for the steering stabilizer. The nut has a more course thread pattern than the supplied bolt. If I find a nut at Home Depot that fits, would that be okay to use?

Another question, are the red boots supplied with 9000XL's required to be used?
