Hi Lukes 66,

i am brand new to ford-trucks.com. I posted because I am interested in getting a 80s diesel and restoring the truck. but I know nothing about them and want to learn. I noticed in your signature that you say you have a C6 tranny, and still get about 20 mpg. I was wondering what combination of mods, if any you had done to get that kind of mpg? I was thinking of going with a manual. But if you can get 20 mpg out of a C6, which I hear are bullet proof, then I am really interested. would you mind telling? Thanks for your help.
