Conversation Between Scndsin and 95xlt5.8

Hi guy & welcome to FTE. I purchased a complete set of hoses mfg by Goodyear called Hi-Miler, (blue silicon) from Summit racing for about $100. However, from all I have heard over the years, all you need to do is purchase a regular lower radiator hose & ask for one with out the oil cooler. Looking at rockauto.com for my application they show approximately 9 lower hoses without the cooler adapter & 7 with the hoses.

Hey i have a quick question for you. I need to replace my lower rad hose... I have a 95 xlt 5.8 the person that had the truck before me bepassed the oil cooler by using a reg hose and didnt take off the cooler. I have been trying to fi d a hose for over a month and a half but every one i get is wrong. What yr do you have and do tou remember what hose you got? Thanks
