Conversation Between farmert and myred

Hey i was the one that you was replying to about the thermostat a week ago,, Ive got a stant in my that is 203 deg but not to worried about that.. Its a short thermostat but will this thermostat be ok other then they might not last as long?? What is it about the bypass?? You was the only one that explained really well on my post so i thought i would ask if its ok to leave it in there for alittle while. Reason im asking is cause i just put the attitives in the truck and hate to drain it out some, Really kinda hate to open up the bottom of the drain of the radiater just in case it dont shut off. How i drained mine and flushed it was but taking bottom radiator off. Also ive read some about two thermostats but i dont think that is to do with mine,, What a confusing year i have a 1994 f250 turbo idi 135,000 miles..
