    Saw your post on removing the blower. My 2001 f150 has the same problem. With trouble, I squeezed the old blower/fan cage out. Got a new one but I cant squeeze in.Guess I'll try the carpet thing.Thanks, Chuck-San Jose,Ca.2001 f150 214,000 miles!
