Thanks for the flowers Don. Yup an ole X Navy airdale, plane captain & AEM. Turned my wrenches on AD-5W's in CARAWON-12/VAW-12, in the mid to late 50's, while they were still in Quonset Pt RI.
So far health is good, so maybe I'll be granted a few more years ride on space ship earth, sure hope so, cause so far its been a hoot!!!! I do enjoy helping shade tree wrench turners think through their trouble shoot & repairs. We on the forum all learn a lot from each other, I know I have!!!!

Hi PawPaw, Just wanted to say hi. I don't know why I took you for X-Navy, just figured you we're. My best friend and piloting mentor was X-Navy guy named Bill Melly, and we both owned Experimental Thorp T-18's and had lots of adventures. He has passed on now, but what he gave me was memories that would last a lifetime. I hope your health is good and you go on a long time. I can clearly see how valuable you are to this forum, and probably to everyone that knows you. Best regards, Don
