My 87 f150 interior looks new except for the seat, it has the single seat with the center fold down section. I am wonder if anyone has found a cover that fits this style of seat or has replaced the seats with any other type of seat from another year or another vehicle?

 

Take a look at NPD and LMC. They have upholstery kits. Also JCW or Auto Anything may have a universal seat cover that fits your truck. Another good option is to visit a few upholstery shops.

 

I just purchased a seat cover from Realtrucks.com for a seat like yours. It is a good seat cover, but does not fit the seat exactly right. The seat bottom is perfect, but the back is not. It comes with a cover for the fold down arm rest but the back has zippers in it to allow it to work and they are hard to get zipped back.

This company may have the NOS material in stock. He said the cloth material for my
88 F150 with a bench seat was $89.00 a running yard. A running yard in this
case is 3ft. x at least 60 inches wide.

He estimated it would take 1 3/4 yards to reupholster a bench seat
but if I wanted to be on the safe side to order 2 yards of material.

You could order the material and have a local shop replace the worn area.
