E-250 compared to E-150

Does the commercial E-250 have a heavier frame and suspension than an E-150 or just heavier springs? Is it really a super duty? Thinking about (in a few years) getting a commercial grade E-250 with the racks and bins cargo system, wondering how tough they are. Want something that can take abuse. considering the 5.4 or the v-10. any opinions / info would be apreciated.

E-250 got a bigger frame because of size and all but I dunno If I would go with a v-10 maybe a v-8 5.4L l or even a 4.6L becasue them v-10s kill you in the wallet
But if money is no problem get ya a V-10

Just my 0.02 cents

Go with the 250. It has WAY better brakes and heavier duty axles, shocks, springs, frame. And you can get rear disc too. The 150's brakes are puny IMO. But I don't think the v10 is available in a 250. The 5.4 should be plenty.

After checking out both I decided on a E250. It "feels" tougher. Has a higher load capacity, big axle, and rear disk brakes. I think a 150 would be ok but the E250 should last longer with me driving it.

The 5.4 runs good but I got shut down by a new Grand Marquis last week
